I see by the data tag that the unit is rated at 3600 RPM. these older generators did not use electronic regulators and the output voltage was very dependent on the RPM of the rotor.
In the picture the meter looks to be a volt meter, since there is a 240 volt outlet I would think that the green area is around 220 to 245 volts.
